A Prayer to Read

A Prayer of Gratitude and Steady Faith

✦

Find a quiet place and read this prayer slowly — aloud or in silence. Let each line rest for a moment before moving to the next.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for receiving me honestly.

You know what remains difficult, and You do not ask me to pretend that it does not matter.

Today, open my eyes to the grace that is still present.

Thank You for every person who has offered sincere support.

Thank You for every need that has been met.

Thank You for every moment of rest, every piece of wisdom, and every small sign of progress.

Help me notice what fear and exhaustion have caused me to overlook.

Remind me of the times You have sustained me before.

When I become discouraged, keep one difficult moment from defining my entire journey.

Give me resilience that depends upon You rather than upon my own strength.

Help me receive the support I need and continue practicing what is wise.

Show me where I have grown.

Give me humility to learn from setbacks without living under shame.

And give me courage to begin again when necessary.

I thank You not because every circumstance is easy, but because Your presence and grace remain available within every circumstance.

Guide my next step.

Strengthen my heart.

And teach me to continue with gratitude, wisdom, and faithfulness.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

Day V · Private Reflection

What Grace Can You Recognize Today?

Gratitude does not ask you to deny what has been hard. It only asks you to notice the grace that has quietly carried you this far.
